Acrobat Music Acrobat is a UK-based record label specialising in collectors’ and re-issue CDs across just about every genre of music. We have CDs by some of the biggest names in music, from Frank Sinatra to Duke Ellington, Patsy Cline to Willie Nelson, Jerry Lee Lewis to Bill Haley, as well as a huge selection of more hard-to-find artists. Knowing that there is demand for specialist, niche and collectors' music all around the world, our strategy is to ensure that artists and recordings in genres which are often not given priority by the major companies are as widely available as possible. We also have a fabulous selection of compilation CDs, including our popular The British Hit Parades, America's Greatest Hits and Jukebox Hits series, along with other themed collections in most genres. On this site you can browse through the Acrobat catalogue, by artist or genre, or download a .pdf of the catalogue from the “Catalogue” link. While maintaining our digital business, Acrobat Music spent most of 2009 re-grouping after our acrimonious split from our investors, which left our physical catalogue in the possession of a third party. After a lengthy legal process, we have now regained control of our catalogue as of June 2010, and will ahve physical stock of many of the titles available once more. However, many of the popular titles, such as the British Hit Parades series, are out of stock and we will be re-manufatcuring these as soon as is practical. If you can't get any of our titles, send us an e-mail and we will make sure you are contacted when we have them again. In addition, we are re-launching our business with new releases and re-packaged titles in September 2010, and as part of our 2010 re-launch, we are establishing the Trapeze label, primarily designed as a vehicle both for re-issuing interesting rock, blues, folk and other material by more contemporary artists, including many current working acts, which has either never been on CD or is currently unavailable, and new releases by the same or similar artists. These are usually joint ventures with artists who own their own material or albums licensed from the majors. We are always keen to hear from artists who are looking for a profitable, flexible and sympathetic outlet for repertoire that they own or have access to. We will also be re-aligning our former budget label Fabulous, so that it focuses on rare or unavailable original cast recordings, film soundtracks and showbiz-oriented artist re-issues. At the moment, we do not offer the facility for consumers to buy our CDs from the site - we will add an on-line shop to the site during the July-September quarter of 2010 , but most of our product, where it exists, is available from www.amazon.co.uk and www.play.com . You can also find our product in specialist record stores. Once again, please contact us if there is something you want and can't find and we'll make arrangements to get it to you if we have it. As of Juney 2010, we are in the process of establishing new UK and international trade distributors. If you are an exporter or mail order operator, you can open an account direct with Acrobat.
